Welcome to the first update of The Music Box blog!

I intend to use this blog as a tool to inform everyone about instruments I am working on, what types repairs I am performing and of course, letting all of you know what I currently have for sale! Currently, I have a beautiful Getzen 300 cornet on my bench as well as an Olympia trombone. Soon, I will be working on a french horn and a trumpet (I currently do not know the brand names).

The Getzen cornet will be ready to go anytime now. You can see a pic of me working on it in the picture that is included in this post. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing the instrument. I am asking $200 without a case and $250 with a case, but I will always accept reasonable offers on any instrument. Pictures will be posted as soon as the horn is in tip-top condition!

I have a Beaufort American Trumpet/Cornet. It is configured like a trumpet but has a cornet lead pipe and mouthpiece. It was left at a church resale shop. Any ideas of value or collectability?
